Prepare My Trip 2

Well, when preparing bag, clothes and shoes is done, now I prepare lest of things.

This is safety information from Korea Diplomatic Service. As you can see, some countries have to carefully choose to travel.

So sad, my eighth trip spot Egypt is level 2 area. I have to more consider about my Egypt travel plan.

 

Above this, these four countries cannot go to trip particular period. For your safe travel, you should often check Diplomatic Service site. It is very helpful and improving site.

            

Or you need to carry your medicine, food (which can go through customs), camera, lap top, sunblock  emergency drugs like sticking plaster…… and buying travel insurance is also important.

Wow…… There are a lot of things I have to prepare before start traveling. I can’t write all now, but much more still remains to be prepared.

HAHA. Traveling go to foreign country alone is more complicated than I thought. For these reasons, many tourists choose a tourist agency. They offer all things like a sightseeing guide, bus, hotel, travel insurance and so on.

But, traveling alone is my old dream. When I was young, I travel in Korea with my family almost twice in a month. I like see unfamiliar scenery. I like check into next spot through internet or the map. But after I enter the high school, it is very hard to trip somewhere, even close spot!

I am very happy that I have a long vocation than high school so I can plan long journey like go to abroad. Of course, I don’t have enough money and my language skill is absurdly run short. I know that very well. But I love travel and make an effort to reach the goal. So, it doesn’t matter so much. I hope that I can go to travel all these spots which write this blog someday (as soon as possible) :D 

Prepare My Trip

Until now, I write about 8 places I want to go. I not sure when I start to go. So now, I have to think about what I need for my travel.

 First, I need at least two bags (it depends on my total luggage.). I love my backpack but I use another one sometimes. During travel, I have to care many things by myself and everything is very unfamiliar and uncomfortable. These make me very distracted than I lose my things more easily than usual. I hope that I will not lose anything. But just in case, I have to carry important things like my passport, wallets and cell phone all times in a bag which is light and small. And it can also protect stealing.

And I need more bag to pack lest of my luggage like my clothes, camera, shoes and so on. If my trip schedule include many walking programs or movements, using backpack is better for me. Actually, backpack is handier in an irregular road like rural area or mountainous area. But luggage is too much and the road is not irregular, it is wiser using suitcase case with wheels like trunk. This bag helps you to move your luggage dintlessly.  

Second, I prepare my shoes. Traveling involves a lot of walking. So every traveler chooses right shoes for their. Some travel plan of mine contains hiking. So I must bring hiking boots. Besides, when I go to beach I need waterproof shoes or sandals. And when I go to Alaska I need arctic boots to keep warm.

Also, I need to consider my clothes. Except several cases, weather is very different between Korea and foreign country. So I should check the weather of destination and pack my clothes. Of course, I can buy some clothes in that country. But it may lead over budget! Therefore, it is hard to enjoy my traveling.

The Eighth Trip

Do you like something else? Well, I do. This blog write about the spot where I want to go. If I have a chance, I go to Egypt. Egypt is one of the birthplaces of civilization like India, Mesopotamia and Chinese.

Most people think that Egypt trip is hard and difficult. Of course, there are very hot. Some desert place can soar above 50 degrees centigrade. But in spite of hot weather, Egypt is very attractive travel spot.

Aswan is located east of Nile River. There are a lot of ancient ruins near the Aswan. So every year, many tourists visit here.

This is the inside of Temple of Horus. Temple of Horus called “the most perfectly preserved Temple” Horus is son of Isis and Osiris. In Egypt culture, Horus is owner of sky. He is often describing human who has falcon head or just falcon.

This is Abu Simbel Temple. Ramses , the 19^th king of Egypt, built it for himself and his wife. Abu Simbel Temple almost sinks under water because Aswan dam construction lead rise of water level. But fortunately, UNESCO (the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization) save Abu Simbel Temple spending almost six trillion won. Now this temple is located 70M higher than original spot.

And you may interest in ancient Egypt art, you can go Musée du Caire. This is museum in Egypt Cairo which is the capital of Egypt. This is only museum in the world that you can totally see the ancient Egypt art at once.

 When you hear the word Egypt, You may imagine only hot weather and desert. I thought same before. But Egypt is more fantastic city than we think. Egypt is not an easy to travel so you have to prepare many things. But once you visit Egypt, you very proud of your choice! :D

The Seventh Trip

Have you ever heard about the Rio carnival? I think almost of you know it because it is so popular festival.

 Rio carnival is Brazil samba festival which held in Rio de Janeiro. It is one of the most famous things in Brazil. Every year, almost one third of Brazil visitor come to Brazil in this period. Brazil even has several samba schools for this festival. The students of this school prepare the parade for a year. This festival is very colorful, showy and fantastic.

 Brazil is also famous Amazon River. Amazon River is the biggest river in the world. The longest river is Nile River. But Amazon River has largest basin area. As you can see in the movie named anaconda, a lot of animal lived in the Amazon River. 

 This is piranha. Piranha means ‘the fish which has teeth’. It is carnivorous fish and very aggressive. And they can eat even a big cow!

And surprisingly, there is dolphin in Amazon River. They called Pink River Dolphin because their color is pink, gray and little blue. Unfortunately, Pink River Dolphin is endangered species. L

Happiness of traveling is delicious food. I want to try Feijoada. It is one kind of Brazil traditional foods. Feijo is kind of bean. Long time ago, foodless Brazil slave cook Feijo and broken meat together. It becomes Feijoada. It has lots of calories and indigested food so many people it Feijoada in lunch. It is very similar to Korean dishes. It looks very friendly. Many travelers say it taste good.

Brazil is very well known country many people in Korea. Brazil soccer team is really powerful and talented. They have won 5 times in FIFA world cup from 1930 to 2010. In 2014, Brazil holds FIFA World Cup.

They have many interesting things. A lot of traveler prefer Brazil trip for these reason. Oh, I want to go and see a world cup!

The Sixth Trip

Wow, the weather is hotter and hotter. I like cold weather more than hot weather. So when summer is coming, I want to go to winter city like migratory bird. Today my wish travel spot is Alaska. Many people think Alaska has just winter, winter and winter. But Alaska has four seasons like Korea. (While summer is cool and winter is extremely cold.) Alaska means 'Big land'. As its name signifies, Alaska is very big city. It takes a fifth of America.

Thanks to wide land and clean nature, we can enjoy many things here. (If I can go there)The first thing I want to do in Alaska is looking the ice mountain, glacier.

Alaska has many glaciers like Mendenhall glacier, Bear glacier. Mostly we can see the glacier on the cruise ship. But depending on your travel agency and luck, we can look at it under your very nose.

Many travel agencies has program that meet wild animals. During Alaska tour, you can see a lot of animals here.

This is Caribou. Caribou is cervidae animal which live in the tundra of the North Pole and the north coniferous forests. It has elegant antler and pretty eyes. So many tourists love it.

 And this is Moose. It is the biggest deer in cervidae. It is 1.9~2.2M tall! Moose is a herbivore and very gentle. Wow, it looks like a picture. You can see it neat the river, lake and wetland. Above these, we can meet Dall sheep, Grizzly Bear and Sea Otter.

 Alaska salmon is greatly famous. Many anglers do fishing in Alaska to get fresh, big salmon. In Alaska, you can fish salmon yourself. Or you just enjoy delicious salmon dish.

Alaska is wonderful land. However, many glaciers in Alaska are melting down because of abnormal climate. We must try to protect this beautiful land for us and our descendant.
