The Fifth Trip

Do you like London? London is beautiful city and the capital of England. My first impression of this city is classic. There are many old buildings and structures.

 Tower Bridge which is symbol of London was finished 1894. This bridge across the river called Thames River. The bridge has dignified and imposing appearance. And many people said nightscape of the Tower Bridge is as pretty as a picture.

And Buckingham Palace is worthy of a visit. Buckingham Palace is official residence of the King of England is open to the public when the king live in the other abode. You can see the Changing of the Guards at the Palace. It looks very cool!

A house of Parliament is also recommended. A house of Parliament has Big Ben. Big Ben is large clock tower weighs 13.5t and standing at 106 meters tall. Big Ben informs the New Year like Korea Boshingak.

Do you like Sherlock Holmes? I am big fan of Sherlock Holmes. Maybe you are same; you must go Sherlock Holmes Museum. Hereabouts, there are souvenir shop and restaurant named after Sherlock Holmes. And the man who called himself Doctor Watson received the guests. It looks very interesting. Oh my. I really want to go there. Sherlock Holmes and Arthur Conan Doyle is my hero. I’ll get there, even if I have to get part-time job.

If you go London in at the end of the year, you should go Trafalgar Square. Trafalgar Square made for Commander Nelson who saves England from Spain and France in 1805. Every December, Norway send Christmas tree as a thank-offering for of British help which can help Norway free from domination of Nazi. The Christmas tree is so beautiful.

London has many things to see. I wish I can go London (include Sherlock Holmes Museum) soon!

The Forth Trip

Wide spread of prairie, desert, sheep, camel, goat....... You can see all of these in Mongolia. Mongolia has four natural environments. There are mountains in parts of west of Mongolia and Gobi desert in the south. Going to the east, you can meet meadow. In the north, There are taiga, the south of the Siberian forest. This is very interesting, isn't it?

This is khovsgol nurr lakes. There is desalination water, corresponding to 2% of the world's. It is the deepest lake in Central Asia. Khovsgol nurr is designated a national park with surrounding area because its clean environment. Fresh water salmon called Taimen live this lake. In the around forest, dozens of animal inhabit like bighorn sheep, wild goat, wapiti deer, reindeer ·musk deer, lynx, beaver, wolf or and so on! If I go there (some time or other), I take hundreds of picture only animal.

Mongolia has not only interesting natural environments but also delicious food. Do you like meat? Mongolian's main industry is stock-farming. So Mongolia has well-developed meat dish. Horhog, Khuushur, Buuz are typical Mongolia meal. Horhog is mutton dish. In a big container, Put mutton, potatoes, carrots, wild scallion and hot stone! Heat from this stone (called Choto) boils the ingredients. Many people said it is delicious.

Khuushur is pretty similar fried dumpling but its fillings are mutton. Now days, Various kind of Khuushur is being developed.

You can taste mayuju. It is alcohol-fermented horse-milk. Mayuju flavor is almost like makgeolli. If you don't like alcohol, Suteychai can be a other choice. It is Mongolia traditional tea which combines tea and milk.

This is Ger. Mongolian need movable house because their lifestyle is nomadic. Ger made of felt and wooden lattice frame work. So It is easy to move and assemble.  Ger looks comfortable and very warm. I want to take a rest there.

Mongolia has good natural environments and traditional lifestyle. It can be inconvenient or difficult. But I want to try Mongolia trip!

The Third Trip

 Do you know Phuket? Phuket is largest and most popular island of Thailand. People called Phuket 'Pearl of Asia' because of its dazzling beaches and beautiful natural environment. Phuket is well known to us for famous honeymoon spot too. Each year many Couples go to Phuket for their honeymoon.

 Actually, there is a cogent reason that Phuket loved many couples and tourist. The island is so beautiful. If you go there once, you never forget there landscape.

 This is Kata Beach which is typical beach of Phuket. Beautiful coastline and fine white sand tempt many people. There are good resorts and restaurants around the beach so you can enjoy your vacation very comfortably.

 Or you choose Patong Beach. Patong is most famous beach in Phuket. Patong has impressive wide beach and many small and large shopping malls. Therefore, there are a lot of tourists always.

 Pang-nga Bay is worth a visit. Pang-nga Bay is made up 120 islands. There are many caves so you can enjoy cave canoeing.

 There is one rock which is known by James Bond Island because he shoots a movie "007 Series" just here!  Oh, it looks strange, funny and scary.

 You can experience variety of water surface leisure activity. You can participate yacht tour, snorkeling or and so on. I am afraid of deep water, but I want to try snorkeling. I want to see the under the sea eye to eye.

 Phuket is a well-developed sightseeing city. So there are many convenient facilities like good hotels or resorts for you. And there are so many places that must visit. Some people said rainy day of Phuket fall short of their expectations. But I think it is also beautiful too. If you have a trip plan to go abroad, I commend this beautiful island, Phuket!

The Second Trip

 Hello. I'm Yeon.

Now days, weather is warmer and warmer. In the street, spring is come and flower bloom. Oh, I really want to go somewhere that I can see a lot of color flowers.

 This time, I gonna write about Netherlands, the city of flower. The Netherlands is famous for the beautiful tulips. Every year, Netherlands holds flower festival in keukenhof which is one of the biggest festivals in the world. Hundreds of people come to see this.

 

 Tulip is Symbol of Netherlands, but they are originally from Turkey. One Dutch took tulip from Turkey and many people in Netherlands loved it. After that, Tulips become national flower of the Netherlands.

 

 Windmill is other symbol of this country. Netherland mean "Low land". 25% of Netherland is lower than sea level so they need something which canbail water out. That is Windmill. Now they use steam engine instead of Windmill so some of them disappear. But Windmill become good tourist attractions.

 Above picture is Zaanse Schans which is famous Windmill Village. There are small village that very ppeaceful, silent and traditional. It is beautiful, isn't it? I wish that I eat my sandwich under the windmill and go around the village.

  Oh, they wear traditional clothing. Their clothing is colorful and has a flower patterns. In fact, traditional clothing  is uncomfortable then now days people didn't wear the cloth as much as former. But, you can meet the people who wear traditional clothing in Zeeland, Friesland, Veluwe, Ijsselmeer, Volendam, Marken. There are famous for wearing traditional cloth.

 This is Klompen, the traditional shoes of Netherland. It looks really pretty. Because Klompen can prevent cold and wetness rather than leather shoes or boots, now days factory worker wear these shoes when they work. They said, it is more warm and waterproof than leather product. 

 Netherland is beautiful, peaceful and traditional country. You can experience their tradition. Hum... I want to buy colorful Klompen for me!

The First Trip

 Hello. I'm Yeon.
I really like trip. And one day, I will go backpacking around the world with my camera. In this blog, I write about some city where I want to go.
The first city is Paris. As you know, Paris is very famous for elegant buildings, art and food.
 This is Eiffel Tower. Because Gustave Eiffel made it, people called it Eiffel tower. This tower is almost symbol of Paris, and every year many tourists come to Paris to see it.
I hope I take my pictures in front of the Eiffel Tower.

If you go to Paris, you must stop by at the Louvre.

The Louvre is one of the greatest museums in the world. You can see the world-class works in this place.
For example, Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa, Gustave Moreau's Orpheus , Jean-Francois Millet's Les glaneuses, and so on.If you interested in art, you really love this Louvre.

I'd like to let you know Delicious food in this city.
Maybe you already remind something. The baguette! But baguette is too famous so you already know. I will introduce something else. 

This is crepe. Its meaning is thin pancakes. It looks very pretty, and tastes sweat a lot.  You can choose your topping whatever you want, like Cream, jam, fruit or chocolate.

 

 You also taste macaron too. It is sweat, colorful, very cute but making it very difficult. Therefore, If you ever find a macaron store, please stopped by and enjoy it yourself.

 Paris is really fantastic place. But too far from me. Trip to Paris take a lot of cost and time. And I can not speak French even a word so I need to learn it. These are take many efforts, But few years later, I will go Paris for my first backpacking.
